Meder Application
Meder is an application that works as an online diary for the patients with substance addiction, to record their state of mind and life pattern to see the progress of their condition or find the trigger of their addiction, bases on the process of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) treatment. Which is the very effective treatment for the patients with substance addiction.
From the concept, the application is an online diary where the patients record their daily information then that information will be sent to the doctors or the therapists as real time updated information. The process will be advantageous for both the patients and the doctors. The patients can always come back to see their record of each day in the application at anytime, to see their progress of condition or see the pattern that trigger or help them cope with their substance addiction. The doctors or therapists will be able to track, keep up or plan an advanced treatment for the patients from how they are able to see the patients’ recording information before the real therapy session, and do some approximate diagnosis. The ideal application enables the treatment to be executed effectively via online and encourage the possibility of fast service.
Another main purpose of the ideal application is to make the treatment for the patients with substance addiction be approachable during the pandemic period, and to make the treatment reachable to the group of patients who have lesser opportunity or convenience to apply for in-person treatment.
The application is designed to have five categories of sections, where the patients have to complete the records by picking up the graphic elements provided as choices in that section or fill in the information if that section required detailed information. The process of choice selection provided in the form of graphic design, will help the patient users save their time when doing the record. Instead of writing they can easily just click the answer, which is easy to understand in the form of visual graphic elements, and more interesting to complete.
* The project is referenced and supported by the information from online interview with professional doctor who directly works and has long time experiences in addiction treatment and CBT ( Cognitive Behavioural Therapy ). There are also supports from researches from reliable sources related to the topic.
