A Bouquet of Happiness
Here is the series of illustration I entered as part of The 2021 Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition. The story presenting about adults' life where happiness doesn't seem to be found as easily as when we were children. Nevertheless, there will always be a little corner of happiness inside you.
" Growing up as an adult maybe boring and having our life mainly based on society. Happiness sometimes seems to be harder to achieve. A man bought a bouquet of flowers to remind himself to always easily be happy as the same when he was a little boy, a kid who was happy for just receiving a flower. Therefore he starts to grow his own happiness garden. "
The story of the project was inspired from my personal life where I look back when I was a child and found that I was more cheerful, be happy on just a little thing and fully be myself with the care of nothing. Growing up as an adult seems to be more complicated and many times comes with stress. However, I realize that I have always love flowers. Flowers appear to heal me from my hard time by just looking at them, touching or being around them. They have delivered me the good feeling that I can't explain. Since then, flowers become my personal happiness symbol, that I hope others will find their own happiness symbols too.
