Cooking Ancestor Board Game
Cooking Ancestor board game is inspired by Chinese ghost festival day which has a belief that it's the day ghosts, spirits and deceased ancestors can be able to visit the living. Also, there is a culture that the living descendants will pay homage to their deceased ancestors as to show respect and concern to them. The board game is designed to help new generation people have a better understanding on the ancestor worship culture and during the process of the worship in Chinese ghost festival day. 

Story
In Chinese ghost festival day when ghosts are allowed to take merit on the living earth, the spirit gate keeper of one zoo in Beijing arranges a cooking compettition for the animal ghosts with the wining prize of being able to perform their appearance in their descendants’ dream and ask for what offering they want their descendants to burn sending to them in a month. The animal (players) who can fastest gather all the ingredients to cook the dishes the spirit gate keeper assigns will be the winner.
The concept of this board game is the combination of culture in Chinese ghost festival day and delivery food. The playing system is adapted from monopoly board game, which includes at least 2 players, dicing and walking characters on a board. The package of this board game is designed to be similar to a delivery portable lunch box with the intention to accommodate players when carry or move the board game. Playing elements are referenced from the homage in Chinese ghost festival day, designed and adapted in Chinese style. The dice is adapted to be Chinese fortune sticks, dicing by shaking the fortune sticks box until one stick fall from the box then move your walker on the board by the number you get from that stick.
